2. Working Principle
Vacuum Pressure Swing Adsorption (VPSA) has the same working principle as PSA oxygen generation. The difference lies in depressurization: during VPSA process, the adsorption towers is depressurized and then vacuumed for ZMS regeneration.
Having higher efficiency, VPSA oxygen generators are more complicated than PSA oxygen generators. And VPSA oxygen generators are more economical while oxygen capacity is higher than 200Nm3/h. Industries served by VPSA oxygen generators include steel and metallurgy, paper and pulp, mineral leach, furnace, etc.
